The first week end

Salut a tous,

Voila le premier week end se finit pour moi... Vendredi je suis allé me promener sur Orchard Road, LA rue du Shopping, toutes les grandes marques sont présentes et il y a des centres commerciaux de partout... Pour ceux qui conaissent Lyon, vous mettez une dixaine de Part-Dieu sur une rue et ca vous donne Orchard Road. Samedi le temps n'était pas terrible, il a bien plus nous sommes simplement sortis acheter quelques trucs à manger, mon ami Pascal est venu manger. Un petit repas tranquile quoi. Pour ce qui est d'aujourd'hui je suis allé me promener dans little India, ca fait très décalé par rapport au centre ville, des indiens partout, des petites maisons très stylées... La seule chose que je regrette encore c'est que tous les tailleurs veulent me faire des costards... Ca peut être sympa vous vous dites, mais quand tu en croises 2-3 qui t'interpellent et qui te demandent d'ou tu viens et qui te disent qu'ils te trouvent très grand et qu'ils peuvent te faire un costard, un pantalon, une chemise au bout d'un moment c'est assez agaçant. Pareil quand je me ballade dans un centre commercial "technique" avec mon appareil photo, ils veulent tous me vendre des objectifs... Heureusement d'ici a demain je ferais moins touriste en me baladant dans la rue...

The first week end gets to an end for me... Friday I went to walk around on Orchard Road, THE Shopping street of Singapore, there's all the big brands there, and huge malls everywhere. Saturday, a pretty rainy day, we only went out to buy a few things to eat, Pascal went to eat. A pretty nice dinner... Today I went in Little India, it's really different from the center, indians everywhere, and very stylish houses... The only thing I don't really like is that all the tailors want to make suits for me. It can be nice but after 2 or 3 that ask you where you are from, that you are tall and that they can make suits for you, pants, shirts, and everything, it starts to be a little annoying. It's the same thing when I walk in a "technical" mall they all want to sell me lenses for my camera... Hopefully from tomorrow it should be okay, I'll act less like a tourist...
